Job summary

RecruitFirst Indonesia is seeking a Database Specialist to support its client, a leading global beauty retailer, with data master management across Southeast Asia. The role is based in Jakarta with hybrid work: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in an SSC, hands-on SAP/SAP S/4HANA experience, and strong data quality skills. You will collaborate with regional teams and external providers to ensure data integrity and process alignment.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma required.
• At least 1 year in a Shared Service Center within an international company.
• Hands-on SAP and SAP S/4HANA experience required.
• Experience in master data management, data quality, validation or cleansing.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve duplicate or inaccurate data.
• Proficient in Excel and documentation management.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master data records in SAP through a ticketing system.

We are currently seeking a Database Specialist to join our client, a leading global beauty retailer and part of a prestigious international luxury group, supporting its regional operations across Southeast Asia and other international markets. Location: Jakarta. Work Arrangement: 3 days WFO & 2 days WFH (Hybrid). Regional Coverage: Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain master data records in SAP through a ticketing system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global data standards.
• Monitor data quality and identify duplicate, incorrect, or incomplete records.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and issue resolution to maintain data integrity.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and master data-related projects.
• Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders and external service providers to resolve data-related issues and ensure consistent processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a two-year higher education diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a Shared Service Center within an international company.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and SAP S/4HANA is required.
• Experience in master data management, data quality, data validation, or data cleansing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve duplicate or inaccurate data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation management.
• Fluent in English mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with regional teams.
