Role Description

The Science Tutor Grade 8 will provide in-person tutoring to Grade 8 students in Bandung, supporting their understanding of key science concepts such as physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science. This part-time, on-site role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum, using examples, experiments (where appropriate), and visual aids to clarify complex topics. The tutor will assess student understanding through questions, short exercises, and formative assessments, then adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing learning materials, tracking student progress, giving constructive feedback, and communicating with parents or guardians as needed. The tutor is expected to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and uphold Airi Course’s standards for professionalism and academic integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Grade 8 science topics, including basic physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science, and ability to explain these concepts clearly.
