Job summary

SEKOLAH BAHASA is seeking an Academic Coordinator to lead our tutor team and ensure high teaching quality across all classes. You will oversee class allocation, scheduling, tutor deployment, and daily academic operations, coordinating with the Branch Manager to support student satisfaction and retention.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or Linguistics with at least 3 years of teaching and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with supervisory/leadership preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Data-driven reporting and cross-functional coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the tutor team to ensure consistent teaching quality across all classes.
• Oversee daily academic operations, including class allocation, scheduling, and tutor deployment.
• Monitor tutor performance and align with established academic standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development plans for tutors.
• Ensure curriculum delivery is implemented effectively and consistently across programs.
• Prepare and maintain regular academic reports on tutor performance, class progress, and learning metrics.
• Act as the academic coordinator and align across functions.
• Handle academic issues and escalations from students, parents, or tutors promptly.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and internal teams to support student retention and satisfaction.
• Track student progress and ensure learning outcomes meet program targets.
• Initiate improvements and innovations to enhance learning experience and classroom engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Strong attention to detail with good discipline in reporting and documentation
