Job summary

PT Berca Carrier Indonesia is seeking a junior technician to monitor chillers connected to the Smart Service platform and to follow up on alarms and abnormal conditions identified through Smart Service. The role requires ensuring devices at customer sites stay online, performing basic troubleshooting for connectivity or network issues, and supporting installation and setup of Smart Service at new sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of networking, electrical, or control systems is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, engineers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
• Willing to learn about chillers and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chillers connected to the Smart Service platform.
• Follow up on alarms or abnormal conditions identified through Smart Service.
• Ensure Smart Service devices at customer sites remain online.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for Smart Service connectivity or network issues.
• Support installation and setup of Smart Service at new customer sites, including service contract and warranty customers when required.
• Coordinate and work effectively with customers, technicians, engineers, internal teams, and other related parties for troubleshooting and follow-up activities.
• Prepare summary reports on chiller monitoring, Smart Service status, alarms, or related findings when required.
• Maintain simple monitoring and installation records.

Job description

Monitor chillers connected to the Smart Service platform.

Monitor and follow up chiller alarms or abnormal conditions identified through Smart Service.

Ensure Smart Service devices at customer sites remain online and connected.

Perform basic troubleshooting for Smart Service connectivity or network issues.

Support installation and setup of Smart Service at new customer sites, including service contract and warranty customers when required.

Coordinate and work effectively with customers, technicians, engineers, internal teams, and other related parties for troubleshooting and follow-up activities.

Prepare summary reports on chiller monitoring, Smart Service status, alarms, or related findings when required.

Maintain simple monitoring and installation records.

Learn and develop basic knowledge of chiller operation, chiller controls, and Smart Service systems.

Requirements :

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, or related field.

Basic knowledge of networking, electrical, or control systems is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, engineers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.

Willing to learn about chillers and control systems.

Good problem-solving skills and responsible for follow-up.

Willing to visit customer sites when required.
