Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Specialist to monitor and manage hospital pharmaceutical stocks, ensuring availability of medicines and medical equipment for outpatient and inpatient services. You will maintain stock cards, oversee ordering and receiving, and generate essential reports to support hospital operations.

Minimum Diploma/Associate Degree in Pharmacy with at least two years in inventory management is required.

Qualifications

Must have Diploma/Associate Degree in Pharmacy.
Proficient in managing inventory systems and stock control.
Understanding of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical storage and handling.
Strong problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and supply chain interruptions.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control the inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for hospital outpatient and inpatient services.
Ensure availability of stock, equipment, and medicines; maintain stock cards for each item.
Oversee ordering, receiving, and stock levels to ensure quantities align with fixed stock system.
Produce and maintain operational reports: stock, usage, expiry, and transactions related to medicines and tools.
Ensure data completeness and delivery of medicines and equipment to departments while controlling quantities and expiry dates.
Implement quality and safety procedures, documenting and reporting to support hospital indicators and targets.
