Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a professional Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support audit processes. Based in Jakarta, you will collaborate with treasury and finance teams to ensure compliance across all financial activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 1 year of relevant experience, and understands tax regulations, banking systems, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good understanding of taxation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with banking systems and cash management processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling financial data.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions including receipts, expenses, journals, invoices, and payments.
• Create accurate accounting records with balance reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documents and data.
• Process and prepare vendor payments.
• Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing bank transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all financial transactions.
• Support implementation of Integrated Management System and risk controls within finance.

Main Responsibilities

• 1. Manage daily financial transactions, such as receipts, expenses, and journal recording, including invoices, payments, and monitoring bank accounts.
• 2. Create accurate and up-to-date accounting records of financial transactions, including account balancing, reconciliations, and journal recording.
• 3. Assist in the internal and external audit process by providing the required documents and data to the auditor.
• 4. Process and prepare vendor payments.
• 5. Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing bank transactions.
• 6. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• 7. Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all financial transactions.

General Responsibilities

• 1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
• 2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• 3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• 4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
