Job summary

Chandra Asri Group in Indonesia seeks a hands-on SAP Functional PM Analyst to deliver functional support, configuration, and minor-change delivery for SAP Plant Maintenance across our Indonesian entities. You will partner with Maintenance, Reliability, and Operations, coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, and 3P AMS partners, and contribute to S/4HANA readiness in a petrochemical/process environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Chemical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SAP PM functional experience in manufacturing or process plants.
• Strong configuration knowledge across Technical Objects, Maintenance Plans, Work Orders, and Notifications.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and Fiori-based maintenance apps preferred.
• Familiar with SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM transport governance and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Functional Support & Configuration: Resolve incidents and configure PM sub-areas (locations, equipment, BOMs, maintenance plans, work orders, notifications).
• Testing & UAT: Perform unit/integration testing for minor changes; lead UAT with key users; document end-user procedures.
• Delivery & Coordination: Gather requirements, coordinate with ABAP, manage transports, and monitor governance for QA/PRD.
• Integration & Readiness: Ensure PM integrates with MM, FI/CO, and PP/QM; contribute to S/4HANA Asset Management readiness.

Job Purposes

The SAP Functional PM Analyst is an individual contributor providing functional support, configuration, and minor-change delivery for SAP Plant Maintenance across CASS-served entities in Indonesia. The role is critical for petrochemical/process operations, partnering with Maintenance, Reliability, and Operations process owners and coordinating with ABAP, BASIS, and 3P AMS partners.

Key Responsibilities Include

Functional Support & Configuration:

• Resolve incidents and service requests across PM sub-areas — Technical Objects (Functional Locations, Equipment, BOMs), Maintenance Plans & Strategies, Notifications, Work Orders, Confirmations, and Refurbishment.
• Perform configuration, unit testing, and integration testing for minor changes and enhancements.

Change & Project Delivery

• Gather requirements, perform impact assessment, prepare functional specifications, and coordinate with ABAP for development.
• Lead UAT cycles with Maintenance and Reliability key users; prepare end-user documentation and training.
• Manage transports and follow transport governance to QA/PRD.

Integration & S/4HANA Readiness

• Ensure PM integration with MM (spare-parts procurement, reservations), FI/CO (settlement, cost centers), and PP/QM where applicable.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management readiness, including Asset Manager (Fiori) and integration with mobile/IoT scenarios.
• Coordinate / oversee Kyndryl, T-Systems, and other 3P AMS partners on assigned tickets and changes.
• Engage Maintenance Planning, Reliability, and Operations process owners on priorities and roadmaps.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Chemical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SAP PM functional experience, with at least one full implementation or rollout cycle in a manufacturing/process plant.
• Strong configuration knowledge across Technical Objects, Maintenance Planning, Work Orders, and Notifications.
• Working knowledge of PM integration with MM (procurement/reservations), FI/CO (settlement), and where applicable PP/QM.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and Fiori-based maintenance apps is strongly preferred.
• Familiar with SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM transport governance and ITIL incident/change processes.
• Petrochemical, oil & gas, or other process-industry experience is highly preferred.
• Relevant SAP certifications (S/4HANA Asset Management, SAP Activate) are a plus.
• Strong communication in Bahasa Indonesia; working-level English sufficient for documentation, ticket handling, and coordination with regional/3P teams.
