Job summary

Mataram Consultancy seeks a driven Sales Officer – Marketing with hands-on experience in Hand Tools and Power Tools to grow business opportunities and manage customer relationships within Jakarta or Kalimantan. You will work to achieve sales targets, gather market intelligence, and coordinate with production on order execution.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years in Sales or Marketing, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business/engineering/related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing in Hand Tools, Power Tools, Industrial Tools, or Hardware.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Professional working proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and grow existing business in the assigned territory and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Promote and sell Hand Tools and Power Tools products (drills, bits, pliers, wrenches, hammers, spanners, screwdrivers).
• Follow up on orders and ensure sales contracts are sent to customers.
• Coordinate with Production to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct market visits, gather market intelligence, review feedback, and resolve queries.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding payments.

Job description

We are looking for a driven Sales Officer – Marketing with experience in Hand Tools and Power Tools to develop and expand business opportunities, manage customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and gather market intelligence within the assigned territory. Willing to be placed in either Jakarta or Kalimantan.

Key Responsibilities

Consolidate and grow existing business in the assigned territory and achieve monthly sales targets.

Promote and sell Hand Tools and Power Tools products, including drills, drill bits, pliers, wrenches, hammers, spanners, and screwdrivers.

Follow up on orders and ensure accurate sales contracts are sent to customers.

Coordinate with the Production team to ensure orders are executed according to customer requirements.

Conduct market visits, gather market intelligence, and maintain a mechanism to review market feedback.

Attend to and resolve day-to-day customer queries promptly.

Follow up with customers on outstanding payments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in Sales or Marketing especially in Hand Tools, Power Tools, Industrial Tools, or Hardware industry.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and analytical ability.

Professional working proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and written and spoken English.
