PSA BDP in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales professional to drive new business and expand our national footprint across Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight. You will prospect territory, identify targets, negotiate deals, and collaborate with product and operations to close opportunities while delivering value-added logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in freight forwarding industry and sales.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company.

Responsibilities

• Sales hunter to build and bring in new business based on book of business
• Prospect territory, clients, and leads
• Identify and develop new targets to develop national business volume in Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight, as well as Value Add solutions
• Increase market penetration for the PSA BDP brand
• Engage with Asia region global sales team, Product Leaders, and Vertical team to develop target accounts within country/ region
• Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
• Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations.
• Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Great negotiation, consultative and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical and deal well under pressure.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding industry and sales preferred
• Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred
• Knowledge about Ocean Freight, Air Freight or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company
