Job summary

Check Point is seeking a Security Engineer (Presales) to partner with our Sales team in designing security solutions for customers worldwide. You will demonstrate products, articulate architectures, and guide stakeholders through complex cyber security challenges.

The role emphasizes hands-on engagement with Check Point technologies, leading workshops, and collaborating with partners to deliver secure outcomes for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, CS, IS or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of typical customer architecture and cyber needs.
• Certifications (CCNP/CISSP/CCSA/CCSE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to recommend Check Point solutions to meet customer cyber security needs.
• Provide insights and advice based on Check Point best practices.
• Lead the technical engagement, addressing questions and managing tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops.
• Demonstrate the full portfolio of solutions to keep organizations safe and secure.
• Drive meetings with customers to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Support responses to RFIs & RFPs with bid teams.
• Engage and enable partners and customers on latest cyber security technologies.
• Participate in cyber security events.
• Maintain timely activity reports and communicate with SE manager.

No two days for a Check Point Security Engineer (Presales) are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects!

Major Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Work closely with our Sales Team in providing recommendations on appropriate Check Point solutions to meet our customer’s cyber security needs.
• Provide insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on Check Point's best practice, applying your skills and knowledge in our industry to drive the optimal outcome.
• Lead the technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops
• Demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and information
• Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutions
• Support the responses to RFI's & RFP's with the relevant bid teams
• Engage and support the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.
• Active participation in cyber security events
• Keep timely update of activity reports and ensure timely communication with SE manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for people who:

• Have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experience
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Have good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs
• Are exposed to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageous
• Have a bring a customer first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations
• Have the ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills
• As part of a distributed team of people, a strong sense of teamwork is required.
• Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE
