Job summary

IKEA Indonesia is seeking sales staff to support customers in Bali, ensuring a positive shopping experience through excellent product knowledge and proactive assistance. You will keep areas organized, help customers choose the right solutions for their homes, and contribute to sales profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Understand the store and department action plans and take responsibility for department goals and contributions.
• Actively approach customers, identify needs by asking questions, and advise on the best home solutions to exceed expectations.
• Promote available services to help customers make informed choices and enhance the shopping experience.
• Keep your area clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, maintaining IKEA merchandising standards.
• Maximize sales while maintaining profitability by focusing on top selling and prioritized products.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to ensure high stock availability.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

Understand the store and department action plans. Take responsibility for the department goals and know how to contribute. Know-how for the different customers you meet

Actively approach customers who require additional help. Identify their needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes in order to exceed their expectations. Actively offer all the services available to help customers make informed choices, which results in a better shopping experience for them

Keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience

Maximize sales whilst maintaining profitability by knowing and actively steering towards the top selling and prioritized products

Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability

We want you to be a person who:

Clear and proven ability to meet and exceed customers’ expectations and thereby sell more

Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus

Confident in approaching and talking to people in a proactive manner

Enthusiastic and able to work with others in a team

As you work in Bali, good communication in English will be needed

As our store trades 7 days a week, you have the ability to work a mix of dayon shifting schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
