Job summary

Smartdeer Services Centre is seeking an energetic Sales Assistant to support business and technical teams in Indonesia. You will liaise between the parent company and subsidiaries, coordinate with internal teams, and help drive turbine generator projects in the region.

The role requires Mandarin language proficiency, a science/engineering background, and strong Indonesian/Chinese communication skills. Based in South Jakarta, the position involves travel with sales teams and close collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related work experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese; Mandarin proficiency certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in Indonesian and Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Experience in industrial product sales or administrative roles.
• Based in South Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Indonesian and China-based sales teams to grow turbine generator opportunities in Indonesia.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, prepare technical proposals, and support negotiations.
• Support achievement of annual revenue targets.
• Submit weekly work summaries and reports.
• Arrange travel and logistics for visiting Chinese sales/technical staff.
• Provide interpretation support and accompany teams on site surveys.
• Record customer interactions and sales history in the CRM system.

Job description

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Sales Assistant to join our Indonesia team, supporting business and technical personnel. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between the parent company and its subsidiaries, coordinating with internal teams to serve customers and support turbine generator projects.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with local Indonesian sales teams and China-based sales colleagues to identify and develop new business opportunities for turbine generators in Indonesia, focusing on power plants, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects.

Assist in developing and executing sales strategies, preparing technical proposals, and supporting contract negotiations.

Support the achievement of annual revenue targets.

Complete weekly work summaries and reports.

Arrange travel, accommodation, transportation, and other logistics for Chinese sales and technical personnel visiting Indonesia.

Provide interpretation support and accompany sales teams on power plant site surveys as required.

Assist in collecting on-site information and providing timely feedback to the company.

Facilitate cross-functional and cross-border communication between technical, commercial, and logistics departments in China and Indonesia.

Submit OA processes to ensure sales and service activities comply with company regulations.

Accurately record customer interactions, sales processes, and service history through the CRM system.

About you

(Candidate must speak Mandarin)

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or relevant work experience in a related company.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese; a Mandarin proficiency certificate is preferred.

Experience in industrial product sales or administrative roles is preferred.

Previous experience in Chinese-funded enterprises is an advantage.

Basic copywriting and meeting note-taking skills.

Proficiency in Indonesian and Chinese, including written and oral communication.

Ability to accompany sales staff and customers on business trips, including accompanying technical staff to power plants and customers on visits to China.

Ability to handle business reception and meeting arrangements.

Based in South Jakarta, Indonesia.
