Job summary

PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP) is seeking a Sales Accounting Staff (Mandarin) to join our Jakarta-based accounting team. You will manage sales-related accounting operations and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking clients to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.

The role requires a formal accounting qualification, 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience, and proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting for sales operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of revenue and accounts receivable.
• Recognize sales revenue from contracts and documents per company standards; verify documents.
• Prepare sales invoices and ensure all docs are complete and filed.
• Liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients regarding invoices, payments, and inquiries.
• Enter sales revenue vouchers into the ERP system and ensure proper processing.

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Accounting Staff (Mandarin) to join our accounting team in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya on a full-time basis. This is a critical position within our small accounting practice where you will play an essential role in managing sales-related accounting operations. Your ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin will be vital in supporting communications and facilitating seamless financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the financial accounting and management of the company's sales operations, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of sales revenue, accounts receivable, and related financial data, and standardizing sales business processes.

Based on sales contracts, delivery notices, bills of lading, inspection reports, weight confirmation slips, commercial invoices, and other documents, promptly recognize sales revenue in accordance with corporate accounting standards, and verify the authenticity, completeness, and consistency of sales-related documents.

Preparing sales invoices and ensuring all documentation is complete and properly filed.

Liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients regarding sales invoices, payments, and account inquiries.

Input sales revenue accounting vouchers into the ERP system, ensuring accurate accounting processing.

What we're looking for

Completion of formal accounting qualification or recognised bookkeeping certification relevant to accounting practice.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small to medium business environment.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Fluent written and spoken Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with clients and international stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of basic accounting principles and sales transaction processing.

Preferred experience: Exposure to industrial business sectors or experience working with international clients.

Willing to work under tenant company.
