Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead electrical safety management on railway infrastructure projects.

You will ensure compliance with Indonesian HSE regulations, conduct risk assessments, develop emergency plans, and promote PPE and safe work practices while coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety Management or related field.
• AK3 Umum certification (General Occupational Health & Safety Certification).
• Confined Space Certification; 8+ years total work experience; 6+ years HSE in railway, LRT/MRT, tunnel construction, road construction, power transmission or similar high‑risk industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian HSE regulations and project safety standards.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for electrical hazards.
• Promote safe work practices and PPE compliance.
• Monitor electrical safety activities, including LOTO implementation.
• Coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety Management or related field
• General Occupational Health & Safety Certification (AK3 Umum)
• Confined Space Certification
• Minimum 8 years of total work experience
• Minimum 6 years of HSE experience in railway, LRT/MRT, tunnel construction, road construction, power transmission, or similar high‑risk industries
• Strong communication skills in English
• Team leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

Main Responsibilities
