We are seeking an experienced and skilled Safety Officer to join our team in Medan, North Sumatra. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging technical projects in the port and engineering industries. This is a contract position that provides flexibility and a diverse range of work experiences.

Responsibility

• Ensure that all work activities and documentation comply with the applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
• Indentify potential hazards in the work area.
• Conduct OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) training for both new and existing contractor employees.
• Increase contractor worker's awareness of the importance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
• Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with the standards.
• Report findings and provide improvement recommendations.
• Act as a liaison between management and workers on OHS-related matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Engineering, or Management.
• Have at least 3 years of experience.
• Able to work in team.
• Possession of at least 3 recognized safety certifications, such as:
• General Occupational Health and Safety Expert Certificate (issued by the Ministry of Manpower of Indonesia).
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) at the international level.
• First Aid or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training.
• Firefighting or emergency evacuation training.
