Job summary

PERSEROAN TERBATAS - BADAN SYNERGY OIL NUSANTARA is seeking a Safety Officer to support safety induction, permit issuance, near-miss reporting and PPE management across the site. The role requires collaboration with the SHE Coordinator to maintain compliance and promote a safe working environment.

The candidate will conduct safety inspections, coordinate with departments, handle emergency response activities and ensure all safety equipment is kept in good condition and tested regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years relevant experience.
• Physically and mentally healthy.
• Fully work in the relevant agency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and carry out safety induction for new employees and visitors.
• Assist SHE Coordinator in issuing work permits.
• Report safety walkaround findings per schedule.
• Collect near-miss reports from employees and contractors.
• Identify PPE needs and manage PPE/first aid kits.
• Check fire equipment and report findings.
• Assist in B3 waste handover and emergency procedures.
• Assist in implementing work incident reports.
• Ensure safety equipment is maintained and tested.
• Support regular SHE inspections and coordinate with departments.
• Promote safety through briefings, meetings and trainings.
• Assist in implementing emergency response systems.
• Communicate with related parties regarding SHE inspections.
• Participate in resolving internal and external complaints.

Job description

Prepare and carry out safety induction for new employees, visitors and contractors who will enter the PT. Synergy Oil Nusantara area.

Assist the SHE Coordinator in issuing work permits.

Make a report on safety walkaround findings according to the work schedule

Collect all near miss reports that have been reported by both employees and contractors.

Identifying PPE needs (SHE/P-006F1), handing over PPE & first aid kits (SHE/P-006F5), identifying needs for first aid kits (SHE/P-006F2) and taking PPE (SHE/P-006F3)

Checking all fire equipment and reporting the results to the SHE coordinator

Assist the SHE Coordinator in implementing the handover of B3 waste (SHE/P-007F2)

Assist the SHE Coordinator in the implementation of the work incident report (SHE/P-017F1)

Assist the SHE Coordinator to ensure all safety equipment (SCBA, Gas detector, Lux meter, Sound Level meter, etc.) are in good condition and test periodically

Assist the SHE Coordinator to do regular SHE inspection and coordinate with the related department for the finding

Assist the SHE Coordinator to do safety promotional program such as safety briefing to all areas, regular safety meeting with contractors, monthly safety talk, monthly safety training etc.)

Assist the SHE Coordinator to do implementation of company's emergency response system

Authorities

Communicating with related parties regarding the implementation of SHE inspections & activities.

Participate in resolving any internal and external complaints.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of work experience in accordance with his expertise.

Fully work in the relevant agency.

Physically and mentally healthy.
