Job summary

Cosmax Indonesia is seeking a qualified candidate to conduct and manage efficacy testing of cosmetic products at our Jakarta location. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields, with 1-2 years of laboratory experience and strong analytical skills.

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing testing protocols, and collaborating with various teams to support product innovation. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, and fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.

Job description

This position will be located in Gedung Cibis Nine, South Jakarta. You will be in Team RNI, together grow with PT. Cosmax Indonesia. Please read the qualification below.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in cosmetic testing or dermatological research.
3. Familiarity with standard testing protocols for cosmetics (e.g., SPF, hydration, anti‑aging, skin tolerance) is highly desirable.
4. Fresh graduates with exceptional academic records and internship experience in relevant fields are welcome to apply.
5. Proficiency in using laboratory instruments for efficacy testing such as craniometry, UV‑analyzer, digital imaging device analysis, etc.
6. Knowledge of testing methods, such as in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo studies.
7. Understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive) and Good Clinical Practices is an advantage.
8. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
9. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in reporting and documenting results.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage efficacy testing of cosmetic products to ensure compliance with regulatory and scientific standards.
• Develop, verify, and validate methods, protocols, and procedures for efficacy testing.
• Coordinate and oversee efficacy tests conducted at third‑party laboratories.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for product claims.
• Collaborate with R&I, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing to support product innovation and compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain testing equipment.
