Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mine planning and design.
• Extensive experience with industry-leading planning software (Deswik, Vulcan, Mine2-4D).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers remotely.
• Strong understanding of open-pit or underground mining methods.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage long-term mine plans, production schedules, and infrastructure.
• Use advanced planning software to create optimized designs and sequences.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new projects.
• Collaborate with operations, geology, and engineering for integrated planning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in planning.
