Job summary

SCG is seeking a Remote Senior Accountant specializing in Financial Reporting to join their globally distributed team. The role focuses on the timely preparation of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring compliance with PSAK and IFRS from anywhere in Indonesia.

Key responsibilities include leading complex financial statements, month-end and year-end closes, maintaining internal controls, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional certification (CA/CPA) highly desirable.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in financial accounting with focus on financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of PSAK and IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and analysis of complex financial statements under PSAK/IFRS.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain internal controls for data accuracy and security of financial data.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors; provide documentation and support.
• Identify process improvements for reporting efficiency.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and best practices.
