Job summary

Pt Sanggar Sarana Baja is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join its remote team. You will develop, implement, and manage production plans, coordinating with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure timely materials, efficient capacity use, and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, excellent remote collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced virtual environment. Experience with SAP APO or Oracle ASCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination.
• Proficiency in production planning software such as SAP APO or Oracle ASCP.
• Strong analytical and forecasting abilities for complex production activities.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor production progress against the plan, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for process optimization.
• Communicate production plans and updates effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
• Manage changes to the production schedule and assess their impact on timelines and resources.
• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate with production teams, procurement, and sales departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of schedules.
• Monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to schedules to address unforeseen issues or changes in demand.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements in planning processes.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including labor and machinery, through effective planning.
• Communicate production status updates and potential risks to relevant stakeholders regularly.
