Job summary

NinjaOne, LLC, a global IT operations platform, is seeking a Payroll Accountant to ensure payroll-related accounting accuracy. You will handle payroll journals, accruals, and GL reconciliations, working with HR, AP, and FP&A while supporting US accounting hours from a remote location.

The role suits detail-driven professionals with 2–5 years in GL payroll, familiarity with GAAP, and strong communication skills. Emphasizes collaboration across dispersed teams and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of GL accounting experience with payroll experience.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience with payroll platforms and multi-state withholding rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries including bonuses and multi-subsidiary review.
• Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts to the GL each close.
• Prepare recurring journal entries from a checklist and route for review.
• Review open POs, contractor bills, vendor reconciliations and expense reports.
• Support year-end audits with clean documentation and schedules.
