Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, Indonesia to drive regulatory engagement and manage the licensing program across the region. You will collaborate with internal teams and regulators to ensure compliance, implement processes, and file reports as required.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in regulated financial institutions or FinTech, with strong Indonesia regulatory knowledge, data-driven decision making, and excellent communication skills to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years in compliance in regulated financial institutions or FinTech.
• Deep familiarity with Indonesian financial regulations and regional Asia contexts.
• Strong data proficiency for strategic decision-making and regulatory reporting.
• Experience building and maintaining regulatory/compliance programs in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory engagement strategy for Indonesia and manage licensing responsibilities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and regulators to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
• Oversee regulatory change initiatives and advise on conduct risk and ethics matters.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and risk controls within the first line and 2LOD expectations.
• Deliver regulatory training and conduct proactive projects to support growth.
