Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Medan is seeking a Programme Associate (Refugee Care) to assist in implementing and monitoring refugee care activities, ensuring alignment with programme requirements and IOM strategy. The role supports essential services and protection through referral mechanisms.

You will work under the Senior Programme Associate, collaborating with internal units and external stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery and adherence to humanitarian

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3 years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma with five years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in programme and operational support activities, with exposure to protection and migration-related issues.
• Experience with training logistics or delivery is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of programme activities and document beneficiary needs.
• Report protection, security, or health concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain beneficiary files and support knowledge sharing on refugee care activities.
