IOM in Medan is offering an internship within the Refugee Care Unit to support day-to-day programme implementation. You will work under direct supervision and collaborate with the Senior Programme Associate and Programme Associate to improve care for refugees and asylum seekers.

The role provides practical experience in refugee support services, case management, and protection-related tasks while aligning with international humanitarian standards. English language required.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in final year of undergraduate degree or graduated within the last year in a related field.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use MS Office applications.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and maintain confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Support Refugee Care unit programmes and organise events.
• Co-facilitate non-clinical counselling sessions under supervision.
• Assist in comprehensive case management processes.
• Maintain documentation for trainings and meetings.
• Support data collection for mental health and psychosocial support activities.
• Assist in protection-related activities such as awareness sessions and feedback mechanisms.
• Support AVRR procedures and assist education team with school visits and parent meetings.
• Undertake other assigned duties.
