Job summary

RGF HR Agent Indonesia is seeking a Quality Engineer Staff for a cable manufacturing client in Karawang, Indonesia. The role focuses on ensuring quality throughout production, coordinating with suppliers, and driving continuous improvement from a quality perspective.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, at least 1 year of QC experience in fiber optic cable manufacturing, and proficient English communication. Strong MS Office skills and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Conversational English proficiency required.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality control in fiber optic cable manufacturing.
• Understanding of quality control, component inspection, production monitoring, and supplier management.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• CVs must be in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control and production monitoring.
• Inspect and verify the quality of components supplied by vendors according to company standards.
• Monitor supplier production plans and progress to ensure timely delivery and production requirements are met.
• Coordinate with suppliers to identify and resolve quality or production issues.
• Prepare quality and production monitoring reports and communicate findings to relevant internal teams.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure suppliers maintain the required quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality enhancement.
• Support new product introduction from a quality perspective.
• Other tasks as assigned.
