Job summary

PT LIUGONG MACHINERY MANUFACTURING INDONESIA is seeking a Quality Engineer for coming or in-process activities on heavy equipment assembly and manufacturing. You will plan on-site quality, establish inspection standards, and supervise their implementation throughout the manufacturing cycle.

You will lead inspections before shipment and during installation, identify issues, and close gaps through a disciplined closed-loop process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• At least 3 years of quality management experience in machinery manufacturing.
• Proficient in ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards.
• Skilled in applying the 7 QC Tools.
• Fluent in English for business communication and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Establish inspection standards and supervise their implementation throughout the process for overseas projects.
• Lead quality inspections prior to equipment shipment and during installation and commissioning phases.
• Identify issues and ensure resolution through a closed-loop process.
• Coordinate with domestic and international technical teams to resolve major on-site quality defects and produce analysis reports.
• Manage the quality systems of overseas suppliers, conducting regular audits and providing guidance for improvement.
• Liaise with clients and third-party agencies to ensure delivered products meet international standards and contractual requirements.

About you

At least 3 years of experience in quality management within the machinery manufacturing industry

Proficient in the ISO9001 quality management system and IATF16949 standards

Skilled in applying the 7 QC Tools

Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), capable of using English as a working language for business communication and technical negotiations

Willing to travel frequently for work

Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility

Willing to be placed in Karawang, West Java
