Job summary

PT Powertek Indo Asia in West Java seeks a Quality Control professional to perform IQC and IPQC inspections, document results, and issue NCRs for non-conformities. The role requires ensuring calibration of measuring equipment and adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.

The successful candidate will manage QC activities, support the Integrated Management System, and strive for zero accidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams and field assignments when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or equivalent degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in electrical or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
• Quality management audit experience is an advantage.
• Experience in handling customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQC and IPQC inspections.

Job description

Perform incoming quality control (IQC) and in-process quality control (IPQC) inspections.

Conduct preliminary analysis of product non-conformities.

Document all quality inspection results and prepare acceptance/rejection reports.

Manage and maintain measuring and testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and storage.

Tag and segregate rejected products/components according to procedure.

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for rejected incoming materials.

Communicate quality-related information during communication/coordination meetings.

Implement QHSE work instructions and procedures, including field/site activities related to mechanical processes.

Support the implementation of the Quality Management System and Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHSE) System, in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001).

Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Integrated Management System.

Ensure department targets are achieved with a strong commitment to zero accidents.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma (D3) or equivalent degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in the electrical or manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).

Quality management audit experience is an advantage.

Solid understanding of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Experience in handling customer complaints.

Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and a systematic approach to work.

Able to work independently and within a team, and willing to undertake field assignments when required.

Willing to be placed in Cikarang, Bekasi.
