Job summary

Interport Group is hiring a Quality Control Specialist to develop and implement QC procedures, prepare ITPs, and coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications. The role requires site inspections, documentation, and support during audits and client inspections.

The successful candidate will have a Civil or Mechanical Engineering background with 5+ years in QC coordination within construction, mining, or industrial projects, and a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality control coordination, preferably in construction, mining or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, API, NEMA, NFPA, etc).
• Certified welding inspector/welding engineer status is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QC procedures aligned with project specs and industry standards.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for materials and construction activities.
• Coordinate with project leads and engineers to integrate QC into the schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, codes, and standards.
• Supervise material testing and document all results.
• Maintain QC records: inspection reports, test certificates, NCRs, FCRs.
• Provide records for audits and client inspections.
