Job summary

Japfa is seeking a Coordinator SH for the Nganjuk facility to oversee safety, health, and environmental programs in line with company standards and local regulations.

You will conduct risk assessments, lead trainings, manage permits, and drive continuous SH improvements while coordinating with regulatory bodies and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of SH experience in manufacturing/food processing.
• Certified in SH regulations (AK3 Umum, K3).
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willing to be based in Nganjuk, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor SH programs and policies per Japfa standards and local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits; implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; determine root causes and preventive measures.
• Provide SH training to employees at all levels, including new hires.
• Ensure all SH permits and licenses are maintained.
• Submit SH reports highlighting KPIs and improvement areas.
• Lead and participate in SH committees to foster safety culture.
• Procure and maintain PPE and safety equipment.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Champion continuous SH performance improvements at the Nganjuk facility.

Job Summary:

The COORDINATOR SH NGANJUK will be responsible for overseeing and managing all safety, health, and environmental (SH) programs and initiatives within the Nganjuk facility, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor SH programs, policies, and procedures in line with PT Japfa Food Indonesia's standards and local regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and developing preventative measures.
• Provide SH training to employees at all levels, including new hire orientation and ongoing refresher courses.
• Ensure the facility maintains all necessary SH permits and licenses.
• Prepare and submit regular SH reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Lead and participate in SH committees and initiatives to foster a strong safety culture.
• Manage the procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety-related equipment.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all environmental protection standards.
• Champion continuous improvement in SH performance across the Nganjuk facility.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH) role, preferably within the manufacturing or food processing industry.
• Certified expertise in relevant SH regulations (e.g., AK3 Umum, K3).
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to be based in Nganjuk, Indonesia.
