Job summary

Noraa & Co. seeks a QA Manager to establish quality assurance systems, regulatory readiness, and food safety compliance for a new export-oriented food ingredient pilot plant.

You will help embed quality standards across cross-functional teams and ensure documentation, audits, and certifications are prepared for early-stage operations. This role offers ownership in an exciting build-up phase, with exposure to GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, BPOM, and export-regulatory processes as the pilot plant

Qualifications

• Experience in QA within food manufacturing or regulated industries.
• Familiar with GMP practices in the food industry.
• Understanding of HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA systems, SOPs, and compliance records.
• Support quality management and food safety implementation for the pilot plant setup.

• Assist BPOM registration or compliance documentation.
• Support export-readiness documentation and regulatory requirements.

About Our Client

Our client is preparing to build an export-oriented food ingredient manufacturing pilot plant. The company is looking for early team members who can help establish quality, commercial, finance, and accounting foundations from the setup stage.

About the Role

The QA Manager will help establish quality assurance systems, regulatory readiness, and food safety compliance for a new food ingredient manufacturing pilot plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA systems, SOPs, quality documentation, and compliance records.
• Support quality management and food safety implementation for the pilot plant setup.
• Prepare and coordinate certification or compliance processes such as GMP, HACCP, ISO, and related food safety standards.
• Support BPOM-related registration or compliance documentation.
• Support export-readiness documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with production, QC, R&D, and management to embed quality standards into operations.
• Conduct internal audits, corrective actions, and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Experience in QA within food manufacturing, food ingredients, nutraceuticals, supplements, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
• Familiar with GMP practices in the food industry.
• Understanding of HACCP, ISO, food safety systems, and certification processes.
• Familiarity with BPOM registration or compliance documentation.
• Exposure to FDA GRAS registration or export regulatory documentation is a strong advantage.
• Strong documentation, audit, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a build-stage or pilot plant environment.
