Job summary

Jambix is a web-based Travel Management System designed for DMCs, direct sellers, and travel agencies. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our platform by testing new features and working closely with our development team.

You will perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and system enhancements, create and execute test cases, report defects with steps, verify fixes, and support automated testing as the product

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related role.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome.
• Understanding of functional, regression, and UAT testing concepts.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case documentation.
• Experience with Postman for API testing is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of SQL or databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cypress or Playwright is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork; proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
• Identify, document, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.
• Test web application functionality, usability, and user experience.
• Perform basic API testing using Postman.
• Collaborate with developers and the Product team to understand requirements and expected functionality.
• Maintain testing documentation and contribute to improving QA processes.
• Learn and support automated testing initiatives as the product evolves.
