Jambix, a web-based Travel Management System, is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality across features and releases. You will design test cases, execute manual tests, and document defects, working closely with developers and the product team.

Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome and will gain exposure to API testing via Postman. The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn automated testing as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, SE, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Software QA or similar role; fresh grads with internship welcome.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and UAT testing.

Job description

Jambix is a web-based Travel Management System designed for Destination Management Companies (DMCs), direct sellers, and travel agencies. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our platform by testing new features and working closely with our development team.

What You'll Do

Perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and system enhancements.

Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.

Identify, document, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.

Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.

Test web application functionality, usability, and user experience.

Perform basic API testing using Postman.

Collaborate with developers and the Product team to understand requirements and expected functionality.

Maintain testing documentation and contribute to improving QA processes.

Learn and support automated testing initiatives as the product evolves.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related role.

Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome to apply.

Good understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case documentation.

Experience using Postman for API testing is an advantage.

Basic understanding of SQL or databases is a plus.

Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright is an advantage, but not required.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
