Job summary

DVI Solutions Asia, Jakarta, is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS platform. This role blends manual testing with automated test development and requires collaboration across Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams.

You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (Playwright), run API tests with Postman/Newman, and integrate testing into CI/CD to accelerate releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• At least 1 year developing automated test frameworks.
• Strong experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and API testing methodologies.
• Proven experience in executing smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Create and execute API test suites using Postman and Newman to validate backend services and integrations
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software releases
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation
• Monitor automation coverage, test execution results, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke testing for new and existing features
• Validate user workflows, edge cases, and system behavior across various scenarios
• Conduct cross-browser and responsive web application testing
• Execute targeted manual testing for high-risk features, integrations, and media processing workflows
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirement reviews, and design discussions to identify quality risks early
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure testability and quality are embedded within the development process
• Investigate, reproduce, document, and track defects through to resolution
• Provide clear and actionable feedback to stakeholders regarding product quality and release readiness
• Support security testing initiatives by collaborating with DevOps and Security teams
• Work with automated security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Aikido, or equivalent solutions
• Ensure testing processes and documentation align with compliance requirements, including SOC 2 standards where applicable
• Assist in validating system security, data protection, and access control requirements

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS platform. This role combines hands-on manual testing with test automation development and requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams. The ideal candidate embraces a "Shift-Left" testing approach, actively participating throughout the software development lifecycle to identify defects early and improve overall product quality. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing comprehensive testing strategies, and supporting continuous delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Quality Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Create and execute API test suites using Postman and Newman to validate backend services and integrations
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software releases
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation

Requirements

Must-Have Technical Skills (Hands-On Experience)

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
