Job summary

OSI Electronics is seeking a quality assurance professional in Batam, Indonesia with 2+ years in PCB assembly manufacturing to lead quality issues and drive corrective actions.

You will analyze inspection data, manage 8D reports, conduct internal audits, and develop QA work instructions while adhering to ISO 9001/14001/13485 and IPC-A-620 in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in PCBA manufacturing is required.
• Experience performing FA activities and preventative actions.
• Familiarity with QC tools, lean methods and Six Sigma is preferred.
• Experience with software QA methodologies and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality issues (internal/external) and 8D reports.
• Understand ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IPC-A-620 requirements.
• Lead quality issues communication with programs on customer requirements.
• Conduct inspection data analysis and define top problems for corrective actions.
• Assist in compiling quality performance data for management review.
• Assist in internal audits and quality improvements.
• Generate quality-related work instructions.
• Investigate non-conforming software and train users on solutions.
• Track QA metrics such as defect densities and open defects.
• Stay up-to-date with testing tools and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Able to manage quality issue (internal/External) and 8D report

• To manage product quality issue and communicate with Program on customer requirement.
• To conduct inspection data analysis and define the top problem and conduct meeting toensure corrective measure isimplement
• Assist in the compilation and analyze of quality performance for submission to managementfor review and discussion
• Assist in conducting Internal Audit
• To ensure quality inspections/ improvement activities are being conducted
• To generate quality related work instruction.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor degree
• Experience min. 2 years in PCBA Manufacturing company
• To be able to perform FA activities
• To be able to ensure that effectiveness implementation of Preventive and corrective action
• Able to conduct RCA and 8D
• Able to facilitate improvement program with such improvement tools eg QCC, Six Sigmamethodology, lean manufacturing.
• Able to demonstrate effective leadership
• Able to perform SPC, MSA, PPAP and APQP related to Quality
• Proven work experience in Cable Harness process
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
