Job summary

OSI Electronics is seeking a Quality Assurance specialist with 2+ years in PCBA manufacturing to manage quality issues, perform RCA/8D analysis, and drive continuous improvements. Qualifications

• Experience 2+ years in PCBA manufacturing and quality.
• Ability to perform FA activities and 8D report writing.
• Drive preventive and corrective actions with measurable results.
• Conduct RCA and implement corrective actions.
• Lead improvement programs with QCC, Six Sigma, Lean methods.
• Demonstrate leadership in cross‑functional teams.
• Perform SPC, MSA, PPAP and APQP tasks in Quality.
• Experience with Cable Harness and software QA is a plus.
• Strong SQL and scripting knowledge for data analysis.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Performance or security testing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality issues (internal/external) and 8D reporting.
• Understand ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IPC‑A‑620 standards.
• Handle product quality issues and communicate requirements.
• Analyze inspection data, identify top problems, and drive corrective actions.
• Support in compiling and analyzing quality performance for management reviews.
• Assist internal audits and QA activities.
• Ensure quality inspections and improvement actions are performed.
• Create quality related work instructions and procedures.
• Investigate non‑conforming software and train users on solutions.
• Track QA metrics like defect densities and open defects.
• Keep up with new testing tools and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Able to manage quality issue (internal/External) and 8D report
• Understand International standard ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IPC-A-620
• To manage product quality issue and communicate with Program on customer requirement.
• To conduct inspection data analysis and define the top problem and conduct meeting toensure corrective measure isimplement
• Assist in the compilation and analyze of quality performance for submission to managementfor review and discussion
• Assist in conducting Internal Audit
• To ensure quality inspections/ improvement activities are being conducted
• To generate quality related work instruction.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor degree
• Experience min. 2 years in PCBA Manufacturing company
• To be able to perform FA activities
• To be able to ensure that effectiveness implementation of Preventive and corrective action
• Able to conduct RCA and 8D
• Able to facilitate improvement program with such improvement tools eg QCC, Six Sigmamethodology, lean manufacturing.
• Able to demonstrate effective leadership
• Able to perform SPC, MSA, PPAP and APQP related to Quality
• Proven work experience in Cable Harness process
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
