Job summary

The role focuses on managing internal and external quality issues, performing 8D analyses, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and IPC guidelines.

The candidate will analyze inspection data, conduct audits, and develop work instructions while supporting software QA and testing efforts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 2 years in PCBA manufacturing or related QA role.
• Experience in FA activities (Failure Analysis).
• Ability to implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Capable of RCA and 8D problem-solving.
• Familiar with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality issues (internal/external) and 8D reports.
• Understand ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IPC-A-620 standards.
• Coordinate quality improvements with programs and customers.
• Analyze inspection data and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare quality performance reports for management review.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure inspections/quality improvements are performed.
• Develop quality-related work instructions.
• Investigate non-conforming software and train users to resolve issues.
• Track QA metrics like defect densities and open defects.
• Stay current with new testing tools and strategies.
• Uphold company values and report quality problems to prevent recurrence.
• Support FA activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Able to manage quality issue (internal/External) and 8D report
• Understand International standard ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IPC-A-620
• To manage product quality issue and communicate with Program on customer requirement.
• To conduct inspection data analysis and define the top problem and conduct meeting toensure corrective measure isimplement
• Assist in the compilation and analyze of quality performance for submission to managementfor review and discussion
• Assist in conducting Internal Audit
• To ensure quality inspections/ improvement activities are being conducted
• To generate quality related work instruction.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor degree
• Experience min. 2 years in PCBA Manufacturing company
• To be able to perform FA activities
• To be able to ensure that effectiveness implementation of Preventive and corrective action
• Able to conduct RCA and 8D
• Able to facilitate improvement program with such improvement tools eg QCC, Six Sigmamethodology, lean manufacturing.
• Able to demonstrate effective leadership
• Able to perform SPC, MSA, PPAP and APQP related to Quality
• Proven work experience in Cable Harness process
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
