Job summary

BINAR Academy is hiring a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications. You will execute functional, regression, and API testing, identify defects in JIRA, and work closely with developers and QA peers in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
At least 3 years of experience in QA automation or a related field.
Hands-on experience in Agile environments.
Hands-on experience with Katalon, Postman, JIRA.
Willing to work from office (WFO).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
Execute functional, regression, and API testing for web applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members in an Agile development environment.
Validate application functionality using automation and API testing tools such as Katalon and Postman.
Analyze test results and provide clear reports to support issue resolution and continuous quality improvement.
Contribute to test planning, test case development, and quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
