Job summary

PT. Kairos Utama Indonesia is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software testing team in Yogyakarta.

You will create and maintain test plans, design and execute test cases, perform manual testing, and help build robust automation and API tests to ensure product quality. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders, participate in SIT, and contribute to CI/CD workflows using tools like Katalon, Postman/Newman, and JMeter.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Tester.
• Strong experience in creating test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Experience using Katalon is mandatory.
• Experience testing Web, Mobile, and API applications.
• Experience using Postman and/or Newman for API testing.
• Experience using JMeter for performance testing is preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and software testing best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans based on business and system requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases.
• Perform manual testing to ensure application functionality and quality.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
• Execute automated testing and analyze test results.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Perform API testing using Newman.
• Execute performance testing using JMeter.
• Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality and timely delivery.
• Support continuous testing and quality improvement initiatives.
