Job summary

Kitabisa in Jakarta is seeking a QA Engineer to join a squad and help deliver a high-quality product through automated and manual testing. You will collaborate with developers, PMs, and other teammates to design and implement test policies and strategies.

The role covers smoke, regression, functional, UAT and deployment testing, plus building and maintaining test automation. You should have 2–5 years in testing, knowledge of TypeScript and Go, and experience with MochaChai, Selenium,

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in testing software.
• Experience with test automation, refactoring, TDD.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Experience with designing tools used across teams.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Go.
• Familiar with AI.
• Experience with API, Web and Mobile automation.
• Experience with CI systems.
• Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a squad with developers and PM to deliver a high-quality product; implement test policies for automated and manual testing.
• Execute smoke, regression, functional, UAT, deployment and automation testing.
• Track progress, QA status, and reporting; monitor tasks from sprint to production.
• Design and maintain test automation systems and scripts using best practices.
