Job summary

L'Eminence Golf & Resort Lembang in Lembang, Indonesia is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to plan and execute purchasing for all departments, source suppliers, and negotiate terms. You will manage supplier data, ensure stock levels, and prepare regular procurement reports for Finance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in purchasing within a hotel or resort, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Living in or commuting to Lembang is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Management, Accounting, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• At least 2 years in purchasing with 1 year as Senior Staff/Supervisor.
• Familiar with F&B products, operating supplies, and engineering materials.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier network in Bandung area.
• Experience with hotel back-office or inventory systems and MS Excel.
• Honest, high integrity, able to work under pressure; Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out purchasing of goods and services for all departments based on approved Purchase Requests.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on price, quality, payment terms, and delivery time.
• Compare at least 3 quotations for each purchase and prepare the comparison for approval.
• Issue and track Purchase Orders until goods are received by Receiving/Store.
• Maintain and update the supplier database and market price list regularly.
• Coordinate with Cost Control, Store, and user departments on stock levels and urgent needs.
• Follow up on late deliveries, incorrect items, and returns to suppliers.
• Ensure purchasing follows SOP, approval limits, and internal control.
• Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing reports for Finance Manager / Financial Controller.
• Supervise and guide purchasing staff (if any).

Job description

The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for planning and carrying out purchasing of goods and services for all departments based on approved Purchase Requests. This role ensures every purchase is efficient, transparent, and well controlled.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out purchasing of goods and services for all departments based on approved Purchase Requests
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on price, quality, payment terms, and delivery time
• Compare at least 3 quotations for each purchase and prepare the comparison for approval
• Issue and track Purchase Orders until goods are received by Receiving/Store
• Maintain and update the supplier database and market price list on a regular basis
• Coordinate with Cost Control, Store, and user departments on stock levels, specifications, and urgent needs
• Follow up on late deliveries, incorrect items, and returns to suppliers
• Make sure all purchasing follows company SOP, approval limits, and internal control
• Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing reports for the Finance Manager / Financial Controller

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 in Management, Accounting, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, with at least 1 year as Senior Staff/Supervisor, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort
• Familiar with F&B products, operating supplies, and engineering materials
• Strong negotiation skills and a good supplier network in the Bandung area
• Experienced with a hotel back-office or inventory system (e.g. Infor/Sun, VHP, Power Pro, or similar) and MS Excel
• Honest, high integrity, thorough, and able to work under pressure
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Able to work 6 days a week and live in or commute to Lembang
