Job summary

PAPAYA FRESH GALLERY SURABAYA is seeking a Purchasing Officer for our Surabaya operations. The role focuses on managing purchasing processes, producing POs and requisitions, and negotiating contracts to support procurement with strong analytical capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, solid communication, and the ability to work both in a team and independently in a fast-paced retail environment in Surabaya.

Qualifications

• Can speak English or Mandarin; Mandarin is a plus.
• Purchasing processes, purchase orders, and purchase requisitions skills.
• Contract negotiation and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Previous experience in a purchasing role is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Officer located in Surabaya. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating purchase orders and requisitions, negotiating contracts, and utilizing analytical skills to support the procurement function.
