Job summary

Hiin Holdings Pte Ltd in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a diligent Procurement and Logistics Assistant to support sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control across offices and vessels. You will coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, receive and verify goods and DOs, maintain accurate records, assist with transportation duties, and support general logistics and admin tasks as needed.

A Diploma or Bachelor's degree, English proficiency, MS Office skills, and a valid driving license

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Possess a valid driving license and able to drive a car.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers and process purchase requisitions according to company requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Support transportation activities by driving the company vehicle when required.
• Conduct stock takes and inventory verification.
• Receive and verify incoming goods, invoices, and Delivery Orders (DO).
• Maintain procurement and inventory records.
• Assist with other logistics and administrative tasks as assigned.
