Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a Procurement Assistant to support purchasing activities across our logistics operations in Indonesia. You will collect information and assist in preparing specifications, quantities, and procurement documents, as well as assist in budget and evaluation reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement or similar role.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to solve problems.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Honest, proactive and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collect information and data related to procurement needs, including specifications of products or services.
• Assist in preparing procurement documents including specifications, quantities and other requirements.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, including the budget and evaluation results.
• Support implementation of Integrated Management System, including risk documentation and control.
• Foster commitment to IMS requirements and adherence across the team.
• Participate in investigation processes for accidents or incidents and support information security controls.
