Property Maintenance & Landscape Technician

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Property Maintenance & Landscape Technician to maintain our boutique wellness retreat center to exceptional 5-star hospitality standards. This is a hands‑on position for someone who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship, enjoys maintaining beautiful environments, and understands the importance of preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and capable of identifying and resolving maintenance issues independently while ensuring our buildings, facilities, gardens, and outdoor spaces remain in impeccable condition.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine repairs and maintenance involving plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, masonry, fixtures, and building infrastructure

Maintain lawns, tropical gardens, plants, trees, pathways, and outdoor areas to immaculate 5-star presentation standards

Conduct regular property inspections, identify potential problems, and complete preventative maintenance before issues escalated

Maintain pools, water features, drainage systems, outdoor lighting, irrigation, and wellness facilities

Prevent and address humidity damage, mold, corrosion, water leaks, algae buildup, and general deterioration associated with tropical environments

Complete small renovation projects, installations, painting, and property improvements to a professional standard

Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and maintenance supplies in clean, organized, and functional condition

Follow established SOPs, complete assigned tasks using digital management systems, and provide clear updates to the Operations Manager

Coordinate with external technicians and contractors when specialized repairs or services are required

Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely, discreetly, and without disrupting the peaceful guest environment

About you

Minimum 5 years of practical experience in general property maintenance and landscaping, preferably within luxury villas, boutique hotels, resorts, or similar properties

Strong working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, masonry, and general building maintenance

Demonstrated experience maintaining tropical gardens, plants, lawns, and landscaped outdoor spaces

Understanding of preventative maintenance and tropical property preservation

Ability to safely operate and maintain common power tools, gardening equipment, and maintenance machinery

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to 5-star property presentation standards

Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Physically capable of performing outdoor maintenance and manual tasks

Comfortable using a smartphone and digital task management applications

Reliable, honest, punctual, organized, and respectful of guests and colleagues
