Job summary

PT BREXA Raya Indonesia is seeking a Project Site Supervisor for a biomethane project in Musi Rawas, South Sumatera, to oversee EPC contractor progress, support commissioning activities, and track daily plant output.

The role requires 2+ years in EPC projects or industrial plants and 1+ year in construction phase monitoring, with strong English and MS Office skills; Japanese is a plus. On-site work with regional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma 3 degree majoring in Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in EPC project, industrial processing plants, downstream oil & gas, oleochemicals, food/feed processing, power generation or utility installations.
• Minimum 1 year experience in EPC & Construction Phase by monitoring contractor execution, piping/mechanical installation, civil-mechanical interfaces, or field progress tracking.
• Experience in commission & testing by hands-on involvement in plant startup.
• Experience in operations & maintenance with direct experience in daily production parameter monitoring, utility management, preventive maintenance logging or shift operations.
• Proficient in English for Business (oral and written).
• High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Strong initiative with excellent communication and negotiation skill.
• Able to work with less supervision.
• Proficient in Japanese will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walk-throughs to verify EPC contractor progress against baseline schedule.
• Assist lead engineers and vendors during pre-commissioning, sensor calibration, pressure testing, and handover listing.
• Monitor daily plant output and track key process parameters.
• Coordinate daily preventive maintenance and log technical anomalies.

About the role

This role involves construction progress monitoring for a Biomethane project, including daily oversight of EPC contractor physical progress against baseline schedule, commission execution support, and daily operation & maintenance tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily walk-throughs to verify EPC contractor physical progress against baseline schedule and report field bottlenecks immediately
• Assist lead engineers and vendors during pre-commissioning checklist, sensor calibration, pressure testing, and handover listing
• Monitor daily plant output and track key process parameters
• Coordinate daily preventive maintenance and log technical anomalies

About you
