Job summary

Private Company is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead and coordinate field teams on industrial projects in Indonesia. You will supervise contractors, ensure quality, safety, and alignment with schedules, and report progress with Excel-based documentation.

Responsibilities include reviewing method statements, monitoring shop drawings, maintaining daily/weekly progress, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams to keep activities on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as Field Supervisor / Project Supervisor in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership to guide contractors and subcontractors in the field.
• Solid technical understanding of Civil and MEPI works.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings / shop drawings.
• Knowledge of S-Curve for project progress monitoring and control.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and understanding of JSA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for project progress reporting and documentation.

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation using Microsoft Excel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Lead & Coordinate Field Teams

• Lead and direct contractors and subcontractors to ensure effective, disciplined, and productive execution of project activities.
• Provide clear direction to field teams and ensure project targets are achieved.

Technical Supervision

• Review Method Statements prior to work commencement.
• Monitor field implementation to ensure compliance with approved Shop Drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise daily project activities and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.

Project Progress Control

• Monitor project progress against the project S-Curve and planned schedule.
• Identify progress deviations and coordinate corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Ensure project activities remain aligned with agreed targets and timelines.

Safety Leadership

• Ensure Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is properly implemented throughout project activities.
• Proactively identify and report Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions.
• Promote a strong safety culture across contractors and project teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate daily with Production and Maintenance teams regarding work activities and operational requirements within the work area.
• Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare systematic daily and weekly project progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation and progress records using Microsoft Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Supervisor / Project Supervisor, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and influence contractors and subcontractors in the field.
• Strong technical understanding of Civil and MEPI works.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings / Shop Drawings.
• Good understanding of S-Curve for project progress monitoring and control.
• Good understanding of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for project progress reporting and documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and stakeholders.
