Job summary

Albéa in Indonesia is seeking a Project Leader to plan, coordinate, and monitor new product development and customer projects from initiation to mass production, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence. You will work with Sales, R&D, Production, QA, PPIC, Engineering and Supply Chain to drive successful launches.

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years in Project Management or similar role.
• Strong PM and coordination skills.
• Good leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience in packaging industries preferred (e.g., Flexible/Plastic packaging).

Job description

The Project Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring new product development and customer projects to ensure successful implementation within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budget. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, Production, QA, PPIC, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Key responsibilities

Lead and coordinate new product development (NPD) and customer projects from initiation to mass production

Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure project milestones are achieved

Coordinate activities among internal departments and external stakeholders

Support product trials, validation, and production implementation

Identify project risks and drive corrective actions when needed

Ensure projects meet customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery targets

Prepare project updates and reports for management

Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment

Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, NPD, or similar role

Strong project management and coordination skills

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
