Job summary

PT Empat Mitra Indika Tenaga Surya is seeking a Project Lead Specialist for our South Jakarta team. You will oversee cross-functional project activities, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and maintain high quality across PV EPC initiatives.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, 3+ years in project management, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLTS project planning, execution, and completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, RAB, work plans, and overall project progress.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction teams, and EPC contractors for smooth execution.
• Manage relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate technical, financial, and schedule-related project risks.
• Ensure project documentation, K3 compliance, quality, and applicable technical standards are maintained.
• Lead project coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and clients.
• Oversee commissioning, project handover, punch list closure, and post-project evaluation.

About the role

We are seeking a Project Lead Specialist to join our team in South Jakarta on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing key projects within our projects. As Project Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, drive project success, and contribute significantly to our company's strategic objectives in the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management; PLTS/EPC experience is preferred.Strong understanding of EPC project cycles, particularly PV systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project/technical software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, PVsyst) is a plus.
• SKK Konstruksi, PMP, or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English; willing to travel to project sites.
