Job summary

SeaOwl Group is seeking a Project HR Officer to coordinate and support HR projects across stakeholders, driving smooth execution and rollout of HR initiatives on site in Batam, Indonesia.

The role emphasizes manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, mobilization, and maintaining HR records, with liaison to Project Management and Head Office HR teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support site project manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and mobilization activities.
• Coordinate hiring requirements with Project Management, Construction, and Head Office HR teams.
• Prepare and maintain employee records, contracts, timesheets, attendance, leave, and personnel documentation.
• Coordinate site induction, medical requirements, work passes, training, and other mobilization requirements.
• Monitor manpower status, deployment, transfers, demobilization, and replacements.
• Maintain and regularly update the project manpower database and organization chart.
• Support payroll preparation by verifying attendance, overtime, allowances, and other relevant records and time sheet claim to client
• Assist with employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and HR administrative issues.
• Ensure HR activities comply with company policies, project requirements, and applicable labor regulations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly manpower and HR reports for Project Management.
• Coordinate employee offboarding and demobilization upon completion of assignment or project.
