Job summary

Flex is seeking an HR Business Partner Senior Manager based in Batam, Indonesia, to partner with business segments and develop strategic planning objectives for sustainable growth. You will engage with local HR teams and executives to deploy integrated people solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role focuses on talent management, workforce planning, performance management, and change management, with potential involvement in M&A activities and cross-cultural communications.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5–7 years in a managerial HR role.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with M&A activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach businesses on talent management, HR requirements, and change management.
• Partner with local HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Cascade goals to align business and human capital strategies.
• Develop and deliver an HR strategy to meet business needs.
• Drive lean initiatives and align systems and processes.
• Assist with people investment decisions to sustain results.
• Develop cross-cultural communications and change strategies.
• May participate in mergers and acquisitions activities.
• Plan and facilitate cyclical HR initiatives (planning, rewards, training).
• Support HR communications and training of managers.
• Manage duties of others and build internal partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
